How would I get to Hell's Precipice in the first place? I don't think I or anyone can do Thunderhead Keep without Shadow Form. This character was played strictly following the rules in the OP from character creation.
Of course soloing that mission is a challenge. If I remember correctly Witte Was made it all the way to the Lich back then.
And I captured the elites!
Of course I tried Lambda's build (Grenth's Balance, Dolyak Signet, Ripostes etc) - it's been tested after all, but it is beyond me how he can kill anything in SF. He says it is a very tedious and difficult build, but instead of becoming better I just made a much more tedious but stupidly easy build.
Remember when I said it was probably a wasted effort to capture Crippling Anguish? Well I saw that besides the priests and shamans no single NPC in SF has any heal or hex removal.
Getting to SF is not hard. There is a Dwarven Prospector right after the portal to the Deldrimor Warcamp. He heals you for free. So just lure the enemies to him and do CA until they're down. Do this until you're at the High Priest. He will follow you and also heal you while not being targeted. Just before SF I tell him to stay and enter. Then I employ very simple hit-and-run-tactics.
1. Run up to a group.
2. Use CA.
3. Sprint away.
4. Repeat.
I check 4 boss spawns before I rezone and that takes me about an hour...
So I've done much more than I originally believed was possible, but I guess it ends here. I could cap secondary proffession elites, do side quests or explore the map, but I don't really care about any of that.
Thunderhead Keep and thus all following missions is simply impossible. Let's generously assume I just manage all the way to the Keep without getting the King or myself killed, how am I supposed to stand against all the attackers? I saw how WoddenPotato did it, but I don't want to go all the way with cons and foreign skills.
Thirsty River bonus is also most likely impossible, because I simply cannot pump out that much damage.

Thunderhead keep solo is possible on ranger at least as trapper no clue if warrior can do it although I am pretty sure it was possible but you have to remember a lot of these extreme runs were done before many skills changes. In fact majority of these runs were done during prophecies only that were seeing how far you could solo and that was before a lot of power creep.
The good news is you get some of the power creep as well so I think it might be possible.

I have seen a claim of a ranger soloing THK as a trapper, but no screenshots and his description seems made up. But a warrior cannot use traps effectively so I can disregard that anyway.
The only way to do the defense part is to tank all the enemies so they cannot reach the king. iirc a new wave of enemies only comes when the old one has been defeated, but it is simply not possible for me to tank many mursaat at once.

I know that, when i first did the mission a long time ago, you activate the bonus. Then some Jade armor and mursaat comes and stay in the middle of the fort, and they are hostile to others mobs who are coming, even others mursaats (and their armor is not infused).
So before the bonus groups dies they still kill a big bunch of mobs.
Well i don't know if it has been fixed or what but at least it deserve a try.
Very impressive challgenge btw

I did some research and while the claim of a ranger soloing can't be confirmed as I found the old post I also found out the waves use to come differently, but something far more important I found noted. I don't know if you remember but "gear" farming in sorrow furnace and like wise in the past all aggro went to someone holding an object such as a gear or in this case a "torch".
So I think the trapper method must have involved the aggro use of the bonus torch to force the enemies to bunch up and leave the king alone. The other thing to keep in mind is trappers were a lot more powerful then with QZ and EW unnerfed.
I personally believe it can still be done on warrior or ranger so I will do some experiments to see if I can pull it off. In regard to the fire island missions ring of fire and hell's precipice can be solo'ed for sure on ranger so warrior as well most likely. Abaddons mouth might be more about proper spawns and lots of technique.
The only issue I see is thunderhead keep bonus but I think it might be possible as you can light the torches after completing the regular mission just depends how hard and how long you want to try at this.
